We were tasked with the construction of a new play area and car park in Hamilton, which would be of huge benefit to the local community. The park would offer a range of play opportunities for various ages, with a range of inclusive equipment – such as a wheelchair accessible roundabout, basket swing, sensory items and multiunit with ramp access – available.
In this project we installed Robinia Play Systems, which draw on the idea of creating huge play value with simple structures. We also made good use of the natural resources at our disposal – for example, we used surplus excavated soil to create a mound on-site, and we planted trees in order to create a screen at the rear side of the play area.

We loved the play systems used in the play area – simple shapes and structures are the building blocks of engineering and they’re a great way to spark children’s imagination and creativity.
