The works involved heritage restoration works within the Glasgow Necropolis including stonework, cast iron work, devegetation, cleaning and painting.

Covanburn worked on a number of mausoleums across Glasgow:

Works consisted of:

Point up redundant holes in lime mortar
Stonework repairs to structures
Repair and replace lintels (front and rear)
Repoint internal walls
Lift and relay internal stones ensuring floor beams and roof beams are in sound condition
Replace internal slabs that are missing or beyond repair
Clean stone and remove graffiti
Create like for like copies of metalwork
Paint gates
Remove vegetation
Undertake structural assessment and repair/replace roof and any condemned stone or sandstone
Make good internal floor of mausoleums for future visitors
Restore any engraved plagues within the mausoleums
Upgrading of existing footpath network within the necropolis.
