Ravenscraig Official Photocall

Covanburn were delighted to be at the official opening of the new Ravenscraig Active Travel Plan Phase 2 link yesterday. The project, for North Lanarkshire Council, involved the creation of a 600m long path link between Phase 1 which we undertook last year and Robbershall roundabout.

Works also included the formation of earthwork embankments, footway construction to provide a shared surface, lighting, CCTV, fencing and landscaping. The scheme will promote active travel in and around the site of the former steelworks’.
