Public Realm

From parks to open spaces, the public realm includes any space that is free and open to everyone. We have been involved in the upgrading and regeneration of the Calton Barras area of Glasgow, the first time any works have been carried out in this area in many years.

A number of the projects we work on for our clients, particularly those within our frameworks, include for public parks and gardens. Often located within public spaces that remain open throughout the works, we implement stringent controls to protect the public whilst still moving plant and materials around the working area.

What We Offer

From new building construction in public areas to upgrades on existing facilities, landscaping and restoration, our team will co-ordinate with the requirements of the client to ensure a safe and efficient job.

Works are generally carried out during normal dayshift hours. However, when working outside business hours, works can be rescheduled to minimise disruption to residents and businesses.

Scope of works include:

  • Footpath works
  • Carriageway works
  • Signage
  • Lighting and CCTV installation
  • Streetscaping
  • Barrier installation
